Mount Rushmore National Park- Their site HERE

As you approach the monument, you get a pretty good idea of how big it is from here.

You pass under a walkway of all the state flags as you approach the viewing terrace.

This is the picture from the viewing terrace.

Obligatory family picture with the presidents in the background.

Here is a site with more information on the presidents and this project.

There is a path that goes directly below the sculpture, and this is a picture from one of the "viewing" areas.  Each of these areas has a great view of one of the presidents, a description of each of their accomplishments and why they were chosen for this monument.

This picture was taken from within a rock cave looking up to the monument.

This viewing area focused on Lincoln.

The Jefferson viewing area is just to the right.

The Teddy Roosevelt viewing area.

One last picture of the largest work of art currently on Earth.
